Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Maintain computer testing room(s)
  • Prepare room in advance of scheduled exams
  • Monitor computers; assure operational status; troubleshoot common problems
  • Restore testing area to its previous arrangement prior to exiting following exams
  • Manage test scheduling and related procedures
  • Apply technical knowledge and skills for problem solving, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of process and procedures related to delivery of the online nursing program
  • Develop exam schedule
  • Proctor computer‑based exams
  • Validate appropriate identification as necessary for admission to exam
  • Help students log in to necessary exam
  • Troubleshoot testing issues as necessary
  • Monitor exam process and progress
  • Enforce all rules and regulations as necessary
  • Follow established protocol for integrity breaches
  • Provide technical assistance
  • Maintain and update knowledge of current operating technology
  • Maintain and manage individual and group scheduling and calendars
  • Manage phone calls, both incoming and outgoing
  • Perform inventory control and purchase supplies and equipment for site
  • Perform administrative support
  • Perform various tasks, assignments, and projects as directed by site and nursing administration
  • Perform additional duties as requested by nursing faculty

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, internet and email
  • Must be able to collaborate well with others

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively and to learn quickly
  • Ability to follow established procedures and protocols
  • Ability to maintain a controlled environment when computer and exam issues occur
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Must be prompt and have a sense of time limits
  • Experience with MS Office software and Windows environments
  • Experience in a higher education environment is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree preferred
