Job summary

Mars seeks a Processing Operator to join our Columbia, SC manufacturing team. You will be trained in extrusion, batching, coating, and receiving, rotating through areas while maintaining GMPs and safety.

You’ll train others, assist maintenance, and help reduce waste to keep the plant running. The role requires strong math, communication, and problem-solving, plus a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Strong math, communication, reading and writing skills.
• Be able to work rotating schedules and meet deadlines.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current certifications for batching, extrusion, coating, and receiving.
• Prioritize daily work and coordinate with operators and processing lead.
• Promote a high-quality team environment and effective self-management.
• Ensure processing documentation is completed accurately.
• Train new processing operators and support safety and GMP adherence.
