Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is hiring an extrusion machine operator at our Prosperity, SC facility. You will be trained to support the extrusion line and learn multiple jobs, starting in the unwind, winder, or the scale while operating equipment safely and efficiently.

The role requires 18+ years, mechanical aptitude, ability to read a tape measure, and attention to safety; offers shift options, wage progression, overtime, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Mechanical/Technical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
• Entry Level Computer skills and PC experience.
• Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance.
• Able to work 3–8 hour shifts with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruder to produce rolls that conform to quality specs.
• Complete and process documents for tracking extrusion operations.
• Make process and roll changes as needed.
• Inspect quality during extrusion and finished rolls.
• Communicate pertinent information at shift change.
• Follow safety procedures and know emergency locations.
