Job summary

Amcor LLC is hiring Processing Operators for a Day Shift (7:00am-7:00pm) in Maryland. Work a rotating 15 days per month schedule, operate stretch blow molding machines, lift equipment, inspect and package PET containers, and document process data.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, cleaning, lubrication, changeovers, and adherence to GMP/SQF and food safety standards. Prior forklift experience and good attendance are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have excellent attendance.
  • Must have good housekeeping skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Fork-lift experience.
  • Able to work in a production environment with automated equipment and scanners.

Responsibilities

  • Operate stretch blow molding machines to produce quality containers.
  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and tightening of machine components.
  • Pack containers into boxes at designated production speeds and stack cartons to build 4 ft high units.
  • Safely operate lift trucks to move materials and assist in changeovers.
  • Follow GMP, SQF and food safety requirements and ensure compliance.
