Job summary

Job DescriptionSUMMARYOperates and maintains multiple blow molding machines, vision systems, and laser dating systems in a safe manner to produce and audit PET containers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Operates multiple blow molding machines, laser dating systems, and vision systems using written work instructions, visual management, and computer interface.Conducts quality inspections using specific written and visual guidelines.Ensure operations are completed in accordance with Amcor Rigid Plastics’ safety procedures.Monitors operations of blow molding machine to detect machine malfunctions.Stops machines and production to report malfunctions to the process lead and/or supervisor.Performs minor adjustments to the machines to correct improper functions.Performs preventive maintenance on machines.Scans and produces production tickets using computer interface.Accurately completes all logs, data input and written, to include hourly checks and downtime.Effectively communicates with all internal departments.Removes any damaged material from machine.Assembles gaylord boxes to be used for storage and transport of finished productOperates pallet jack and forklift to move finished product from machine to the staging area.Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeeping duties.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. GMP procedures are observed in all areas of the plant.Pay RangeThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $21.75/hr; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $21.75/hr and $25.20/hr.The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary.
