Job summary

ProVest LLC is seeking a Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor) to serve legal documents in West Virginia, preferably near Gilmer County. The role requires residency in WV, reliable transport, and comfort with mobile reporting.

Responsibilities include documenting service attempts with GPS photos, visiting courthouses when needed, and managing schedules independently. ProVest provides support through a dedicated liaison and training on mobile applications.

Qualifications

• WV residency required, preferably near Gilmer County.
• Complete 3–5 service attempts per assignment.
• Document all attempts via ProVest mobile app with GPS photos.
• Visit local courthouses to pick up and email documents when requested.
• Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned WV areas.
• Manage assignments with PVLS & PSO Mobile apps.
• Document all service attempts with GPS-stamped photos.
• Complete service attempts per client guidelines and timelines.
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times.

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia(WV).

Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near GilmerCounty.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting
