Job summary

ProVest is seeking a Private Process Server in West Virginia for 1099 independent contractor work. The role requires res idency in WV (prefer near Fayette County) and the ability to file GPS-photo reports via ProVest mobile apps.

You will serve documents, manage assignments, and plan routes with flexibility for mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants should be self-motivated, reliable, and professional, with access to a computer and transportation.

Qualifications

• WV residency required (near Fayette County preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and document activity accurately.
• Comfortable using mobile apps for reporting and GPS photos.
• Reliable transportation and access to a computer/mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
• Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile).
• Document all service attempts with GPS-stamped photos.
• Complete service attempts per client guidelines and timelines.
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Job Opportunity: Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor)

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia (WV).

Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near Fayette County.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas
• Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile)
• Document all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs
• Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time
