Job summary

ProVest LLC is seeking a Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor) to serve legal documents in West Virginia, preferably near Kanawha County. Independent contractors set their own schedules and plan routes to complete assignments.

The role requires residency in WV, reliable transportation, and comfort using mobile apps for documentation. You will perform 3–5 service attempts per assignment, visit courthouses as needed, and report GPS-stamped results via ProVest's PVLS/PSO Mobile

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia(WV).

Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near KanawhaCounty.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Support Provided

You will have a dedicated ProVest liaison for support. Training and support on ProVest's mobile applications and reporting requirements will be provided.
