Job summary

ProVest is seeking Private Process Server contractors in West Virginia to serve legal documents across assigned counties. This 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and the autonomy to plan routes while meeting client guidelines and GPS-reporting requirements.

As a reliable, self-motivated professional, you will use ProVest's PVLS and PSO Mobile apps, maintain accurate records, visit courthouses when needed, and communicate professionally with clients and the liaison team provided.

Job Opportunity: Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor)

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia (WV). Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near Boone County.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas
• Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile)
• Document all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs
• Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times
