Job summary

ProVest LLC in West Virginia seeks a Private Process Server (1099 Independent Contractor) to serve legal documents within Boone County and surrounding areas. You will operate as an independent contractor, planning routes and managing your own schedule while supporting ProVest’s nationwide document service network.

You will use ProVest mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile) to track assignments, document service attempts with GPS photos, and return reports on time.

Qualifications

• WV residency required; prefer near Boone County.
• Complete 3–5 service attempts per assignment.
• GPS-enabled photos documented via ProVest app.
• Reliable transportation, valid license and auto insurance.
• Access to computer, printer, scanner, and email.
• Flexible mornings, evenings and weekend availability.
• Comfort with mobile apps for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas.
• Manage assignments using PVLS & PSO Mobile apps.
• Document all service attempts with GPS timestamps and photos.
• Complete service attempts per client guidelines and timelines.
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time.
• Plan routes and manage own schedule.

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking independent contractors to serve legal documents in West Virginia(WV).

Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near BooneCounty.

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas

• Document all service attempts using the mobile app, including GPS-stamped photographs
• Complete required service attempts in accordance with client guidelines
