Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring a Scientist, Process Sciences to support the development, characterization, optimization, and scale-up of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes in Cambridge, MA. This onsite role collaborates with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturing partners to enable process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing readiness.

A Master’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of oligonucleotide process R&D experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with oligonucleotide therapeutics process research and development preferred.
• Hands-on experience in process development and analytical methods for process and product characterization.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process development, optimization, and scale up of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Support process and product characterization of small molecules and oligonucleotide APIs.
• Contribute to the management and optimization of in house and contract manufacturing processes.
• Author and review technical protocols and development reports in support of manufacturing and process characterization activities.
• Author, edit, and review manufacturing documentation according to regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• Work closely with Analytical Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, and CMO/CRO partners on process transfer and process optimization.
• Contribute to strategic technical discussions and present progress at internal and external scientific meetings.
