Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences is seeking a Scientist, Process Sciences in Cambridge, MA to develop and optimize oligonucleotide manufacturing processes. This onsite role involves hands-on lab work and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer and manufacturing for drug candidates.

The position emphasizes process development, analytical methods, and documentation within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience with oligonucleotide therapeutics process research and development preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the design and development of practical processes for the manufacture of small molecules and oligonucleotides.
• Hands on experience in process development and analytical methods for process and product characterization.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong operational execution and problem solving skills.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process development, optimization, and scale up of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Support process and product characterization of small molecules and oligonucleotide APIs.
• Contribute to the management and optimization of in house and contract manufacturing processes.
• Author and review technical protocols and development reports in support of manufacturing and process characterization activities.
• Author, edit, and review manufacturing documentation according to regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• Work closely with Analytical Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, and CMO/CRO partners on process transfer and process optimization.
• Contribute to strategic technical discussions and present progress at internal and external scientific meetings.
