Job summary

Yoh Services LLC in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Scientist, Process Sciences to develop, characterize, and scale up oligonucleotide manufacturing processes. You will work in the laboratory and with cross-functional teams and manufacturing organizations on process development, process transfer, and oversight of oligonucleotide drug candidate manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of oligonucleotide therapeutics process R&D experience preferred.
• Experience designing and developing practical manufacturing processes for small molecules and oligonucleotides.
• Hands-on experience in process development and analytical methods for process and product characterization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process development, optimization, and scale up of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Support process and product characterization of small molecules and oligonucleotide APIs.
• Contribute to management and optimization of in-house and contract manufacturing processes.
• Author and review technical protocols and development reports in support of manufacturing and process characterization activities.
• Author, edit, and review manufacturing documentation according to regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• Work closely with Analytical Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, and CMO/CRO partners on process transfer and process optimization.
• Contribute to strategic technical discussions and present progress at internal and external scientific meetings.
