Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP in Houston, TX seeks a Process Safety Specialist to strengthen Process Safety Management (PSM), Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS), and operational risk programs. You will work across Operations, Engineering, Integrity, and Compliance to embed safety into planning, execution, and improvement.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and experience in risk assessments, barrier management, and incident analysis, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience governing Management of Change processes and ensuring accountability.
• Ability to develop and implement process safety and PSMS programs across operations.
• Capability to analyze risk, identify improvements, and track performance metrics.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Safety, Operations, Engineering, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and continual improvement of Process Safety and Pipeline Safety Management System initiatives.
• Integrate process safety principles across planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and change activities.
• Support hazard identification, barrier management, risk assessments, and incident-learning processes.
• Participate in evaluations of process safety metrics, organizational communication, and MOC effectiveness.
