Job summary

BAYSTAR is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Engineer to support maintaining regulatory PSM programs in Pasadena, Texas. This role involves assisting with PHAs, compliance audits, and developing PSM Best Practices while actively participating in HSSE activities during turnarounds.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering, has a solid understanding of OSHA regulations, and possesses strong communication skills. The position includes responsibilities such as incident investigations and coordinating safety reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in engineering.
• Knowledge of regulatory codes such as OSHA and EPA.
• Good computer proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in OSHA required PHAs and compliance audits.
• Coordinate PHA and audit recommendations progress.
• Conduct incident investigations and close out audit findings.
