Job summary

Tallgrass Energy is seeking a Process Safety Manager to develop, implement and audit Process Safety Management programs for pipeline operations. You will lead hazard assessments, coordinate with Operations, E&C and project teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA PSM regulations.

The role requires at least five years in oil and gas safety, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in oil and gas safety, risk assessment and hazard management.
• Knowledge of safety engineering, process safety tools/techniques.
• Good working knowledge of OSHA PSM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hazard review investigations and lead hazard assessment processes.
• Manage PSM across pipeline operations, E&C and corporate teams.
• Assess engineering/construction projects for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare sites for internal and corporate Process Safety inspections.
• Identify risk reduction strategies and lead control activities.
• Train and mentor teams on updated procedures.
• Audit and enforce safety procedures and processes.
• Conduct safety training for employees and contractors.
