Job summary

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) in El Paso, TX seeks a Process Safety Specialist to administer High Hazard/PSM programs and lead PHA/HAZOP studies for the site. You will ensure OSHA PSM compliance, coordinate MOC processes, and drive KPIs while partnering with site leadership to maintain a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include RCA investigations, overseeing PSSR audits, and supporting regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2 years working with hazardous substances.
• Experience in PSM audits and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and oversee High Hazard/PSM programs for the El Paso site.
• Lead PHA/HAZOP studies and ensure OSHA PSM compliance.
• Manage MOC, PHA schedules, RCA investigations, and regulatory inspections.
• Mentor site personnel and interact with authorities and insurers as needed.
