Job summary

MCC Group seeks a Process Safety Management (PSM) Engineer to join our La Porte, TX site. You will protect people and facilities by developing and improving the PSM program, working with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS teams across the site.

Responsibilities include leading PHAs, MOC, incident investigations, training, and safety reporting to site leadership, with emphasis on field presence and practical solutions in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field, ideally Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Detailed understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 Process Safety Management.
• Minimum 2 years developing or maintaining PSM compliance systems.
• Experience with PHA management software and documenting PHAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PSM systems in line with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.
• Support all 14 PSM elements including PHA, MOC, and Mechanical Integrity.
• Facilitate PHAs, risk assessments, and gap analyses for improvements.
• Coordinate incident investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Deliver PSM training and monitor safety metrics for site leadership.
