Job summary

Ascend Performance Materials seeks a Site Process Safety Leader to drive process safety program deployment across manufacturing units. You will partner with ESSH and operations to ensure robust controls, risk identification, and effective mitigation actions.

The role requires a BS in engineering with 5+ years in risk-based process safety, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to read P&IDs while guiding incident investigations and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 5+ years in risk-based process safety
• Strong leadership and communication skills with team exposure
• Ability to read Process and Instrument Diagrams and facilitate risk analyses

Responsibilities

• Lead process safety program deployment across operating units
• Coordinate site process safety training and awareness
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP requirements
• Develop and maintain process safety action items and scorecards
• Collaborate with plant leadership to reduce site risks
