Job summary

BD is seeking a Process Safety Specialist for the El Paso, TX manufacturing site. You will administer High Hazard and Process Safety Management programs and lead PHA/HAZOP studies for current and future processes, ensuring OSHA PSM compliance and aligning with BD safety standards.

Responsibilities include developing KPIs, conducting RCA investigations, and mentoring site personnel while collaborating with local management to promote a strong safety culture at the El Paso facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience with hazardous substances.
• Experience with PSM/OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee High Hazard/PSM programs including PHA/HAZOP.
• Lead safety analytics, KPI tracking, and regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate with maintenance on MOC, PSSR, and audits.
