Job summary

Dow in Texas City, Texas, seeks a Process Operator-Represented/Tariff to monitor and control basic process systems, perform routine analytical checks, and support safe plant operations. The role requires a high school diploma with related technical coursework or equivalent experience; a valid driver's license and forklift certification are needed.

You will work rotating shifts and engage in safety and environmental stewardship daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with specified coursework or military/experience alternatives.
• Valid US Driver's License and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• English written and verbal proficiency.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems and monitor process variables (levels, temperatures, pressures, flow).
• Lift hoses, operate valves, and ensure safe isolation of equipment.
• Follow procedures to maintain safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues.
• Document tasks and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Serve on emergency response team as required.
• Train other operators as needed.
