Job summary

Dow in Texas City, TX is hiring a Process Operator - Represented/Tariff to monitor basic control systems, regulate temperatures and pressures, and transfer products while maintaining rigorous safety standards and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus one of: associate degree with science/tech coursework and communications classes; military technical service (3+ years); or 5+ years manufacturing as a Production Technician/Operator.
• Valid US Driver's License and ability to obtain forklift certification on hire.
• Rotate shifts and overtime including weekends/holidays.
• English written and verbal proficiency; eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
• Lift hoses and operate valves; ensure proper isolation of equipment.
• Follow procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot process and environmental issues; identify maintenance needs.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records.
• Serve on the site Emergency Response Team as needed.
• Train other operators and cover multiple shifts as required.
