Job summary

Dow is seeking a Process Operator - Represented/Tariff in Texas City, TX. You will monitor and operate basic control systems, manage transfers, and troubleshoot processes while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and may involve duties across multiple operator capacities. Successful candidates bring a high school diploma or higher, relevant technical experience, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and relevant math/science coursework.
• Alternative: 3+ years military technical experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with strong technical and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates and transfer products.
• Lift hoses and operate valves, including proper clearance and isolation of equipment.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Control, monitor, and adjust control systems and manually operated equipment.
• Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues and identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure accurate completion of assigned tasks and documentation.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate degree in Process Technology or related field

Military service in a technical specialty (3+ years)

5+ years manufacturing experience as Production Technician/Operator
