Job summary

Dow in Texas City, Texas is seeking a Process Operator - Represented/Tariff to monitor and control plant systems, perform routine operations, and ensure safe production. The role requires lifting, operating valves, and coordinating with transport teams.

You will troubleshoot process issues, complete required paperwork, and participate in emergency response activities. A high school diploma with technical credentials or 3+ years of manufacturing experience is needed, with opportunities to advance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional degree or military technical service may fulfill the requirement.
• Valid US driver\'s license and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems monitoring levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
• Lift hoses and operate valves; clear and isolate equipment.
• Follow procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation; troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain records and paperwork; coordinate with transport and site teams.
• Calibrate analytical equipment and perform daily sample analyses.
• Support maintenance and act as a resource for other operators.
