Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Process Operator to learn and operate the assigned processing unit, following supervision and written instructions to meet process specs and product routing. The role involves direct involvement in furnaces, pumps, valves, and process instrumentation with strong safety emphasis.

The position requires rotating 12-hour shifts, ability to pass pre-employment screenings, TWIC (or eligibility), and reading/writing English proficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English fluently and understand operating procedures.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supports the refinery safety process and maintains on-the-job safety vigilance.
• Operates equipment manually and/or by instrument/computer control to maintain process parameters.
• Fires furnaces, operates pumps, and adjusts injection rates to meet production targets.
• Repairs equipment safely and requests maintenance support as needed.
• Performs other tasks such as lubrication, cleanup and housekeeping.
