Job summary

AIRCO is seeking a Process Operator for our New Britain, PA facility to ensure safe, reliable operation of our production systems. You will monitor equipment, respond to alarms, collect data, and support shift handovers in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires reading SOPs and process docs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working rotating shifts including nights and weekends. Prior chemical/process experience is preferred but training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in chemical processing or related industries preferred.
• Able to read SOPs, P&IDs, and process docs.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment per SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Monitor process conditions and respond to alarms.
• Record shift data and maintain logs.
• Conduct shift handovers and escalate issues.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks when trained.
