Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or enrolled in PTEC program with minimum GPA 2.7, or within 2 years of graduation with GPA 2.7.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Shadow/assist Operating Technicians
• Follow safety and operating discipline procedures
• Take readings and perform field checks with an operator
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems
• Assist in troubleshooting unit upsets and abnormalities
• Learn EH&S systems and emergency preparedness
• Demonstrate Dow's competencies and teamwork in operations
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
