Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in chemical manufacturing, process development, or chemical operations.
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot, and make sound technical decisions.
• Experience with mass and energy balances and chemical engineering calculations.
• Experience with chemical process equipment; LabVIEW and SCADA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise chemical operations teams involved in manufacturing specialty chemical products.
• Oversee safe operation of batch and continuous chemical processes.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; document changes and disruptions.
• Perform chemical engineering analyses including mass and energy balances and data evaluation.
• Apply knowledge of reaction kinetics, heat transfer, mixing, and unit operations to meet production goals.
• Oversee equipment setup, repairs, and process changes including modifications and reconfigurations.
• Support operation and troubleshooting of LabVIEW and SCADA systems.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and safer manufacturing.
• Review process development, batch records, and technical reports to support decisions.
