Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking a Process Maintenance Supervisor to oversee mechanical maintenance and repairs of process facilities. You will ensure safe, efficient operations while aligning daily tasks with Kinross’ values.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supervising, troubleshooting crushers, mills, and process plants, maintaining records, and enforcing safety and procedures. Night and weekend work may be required; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all Process maintenance in progress and all maintenance completed, implementing changes as deemed necessary.
• Schedule work, assign personnel, review performance and make recommendations for promotion, transfer, discipline or dismissal.
• Work with the process operations groups and the process technical services group to plan, monitor, and execute maintenance work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment ( Crushers, Mill, Process plants, and refineries)
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of work performed.
• Perform daily administrative duties/ inspection of, Work orders, timecards, reports, and supply requisitions.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct.
• Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management.
• Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance.
• Works without risk or harm to self and others.
• Help develop department personnel to perform the duties listed above.

Job description

Under the general supervision of the Process Maintenance General Supervisor, the incumbent ensures that the mechanical maintenance and repair of Process facilities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values.

Education and Experience

• 1. Must be able to prioritize effectively.
• 2. Must be able to completed task in a safe and timely manner.
• 3. Must have good communications skills with operations and Maintenance groups.
• 4. Experience with JDE .
• 5. At least 5 years’ experience in Maintenance.
• 6. One year experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• 7. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• 8. General understanding milling, crushing, and process plants operations.
• 9. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• 10. Ability to work independently and also as a member of the management team.
• 11. Demonstrates strong administrative and organizational skills.
