Job summary

Mars Wrigley is seeking a Process Machine Operator floater at the Elizabethtown site to back up the production coordinator and lead as needed. You will manage machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, and CIP while supporting the production team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with laptops and MS Office. The role requires a 12-hour night shift with extensive physical requirements and a focus on safety and quality.

• Pay: Based on experience $25.40/hour+ and $1.50 shift premium
• This site manufactures DOVE Chocolate

Current Shift Schedule (2026)

• Shift: 3rd(Nights)
• Schedule: Sunday night- Friday
• Hours: 1030pm-7am (must be flexible pending business needs)

Description of Role:

Process Machine Operator- Floater is the back up to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. Responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), continuous improvement recommendations.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Basic analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Physical Requirements:

• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Degree or Certification
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Weever software experience
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience
• Maintenance knowledge or capabilities
• Forklift experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Back up to the Production Coordinator and Production lead as needed
• Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement
• Responsible for the efficient production of quality products
• Operate, monitor, and perform changeover and rebuilds on machinery
• Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks
• Any ad hoc requests
