Job summary

Mars Wrigley in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Process Machine Operator – Floater to support the Production Coordinator and lead as needed. You will perform machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, and CIP to sustain production targets at our Dove Chocolate facility.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of manufacturing experience with strong analytical skills. The role begins on first shift; 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with potential 12-hour schedules in 2027.

• Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.
• Handle any ad hoc requests.

Shift Schedule (2026)

• Shift: 1st (Day)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 6:30 am – 3 pm (flexible pending business needs)

Future Shift Schedule (2027)

Transition to a 12‑hour night or day shift schedule. Further details will be provided.

Description of Role

Process Operator – Floater is the backup to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. Responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning‑in‑place (CIP), and continuous improvement recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Basic analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Physical Requirements

• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10–50 lb) and pushing/pulling (50–300 lb)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours.
• Capable of working in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
