Job summary

Cascades seeks a Process Lead L2 in Eau Claire to drive process reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence on the production floor. You will tackle real challenges, apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other CI tools to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with commercial, technical, quality, and production teams to launch new products, develop SOPs and training materials, and establish process standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Operations or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing with strong production-process knowledge.
• Familiarity with Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, RCA, CI.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, reliability and cost optimization.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and implement sustainable improvements.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, RCA and CI tools to boost operational performance.
• Establish and monitor process metrics to drive data-based decisions.
• Lead problem-solving for process variation, quality and inefficiencies.
• Support new product introductions with SOPs, parameters and training materials.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, quality and production teams on launches.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs and process standards across the mill.
• Ensure procedures are documented, controlled and followed.
• Partner with operations to close gaps in standards and share best practices.
• Conduct reviews and audits of process adherence and standard work.
