Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to own engineering process governance and ECM lifecycle at our Anderson, SC facility. You will design, implement, and enforce standardized workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery, serving as the engineering representative on the Change Control Board.

Ideal candidates bring a track record of improving operations in fast-paced manufacturing, with Lean/Six Sigma experience and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or engineering operations with ECM exposure.
• Experience with ECO/ECN/ECR lifecycle management in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Process mapping, SOP development, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and maintain engineering process documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process flowcharts, and RACI matrices.
• Design and optimize engineering workflows from project intake through design release, ensuring efficiency and consistency across product families.
• Define, implement, and enforce SLAs for engineering deliverables; track and report on compliance.
• Conduct process audits to identify bottlenecks and non-compliance; implement corrective actions.
• Analyze production and engineering data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead ECM activities and coordinate with PM, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Ensure BOM and drawing synchronization across PLM, ERP, and CAD during changes.
