Job summary

Capital One seeks a Manager, Process Management within Finance Tech to lead risk-aware process improvements and drive operational excellence. You will collaborate with Engineers and Tech teams to implement AI-enabled solutions, develop governance for processes, and ensure compliance with policy and standards across Finance Tech.

The role requires strong analytical skills, and experience in risk management, project management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of experience in technology project management, process management, or risk management.
• At least 2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support senior Technology leadership to develop well-managed documentation and reporting to support organizational needs and goals.
• Help drive Engineering Operations progress through the use of AI tools and capabilities.
• Work with partners and stakeholders to proactively plan and communicate upcoming enterprise initiatives and monitor progress and impediments.
• Support ETB and Tech Transformation activities by tracking and resolving process breakdowns, issues and risk events across Finance Tech product domains.
• Manage and monitor enterprise tools to ensure compliance with policy and standards.
• Promote strategic vision and execute tactical operations to enhance a well-managed culture across Finance Tech.
• Engage team members and project leads to ensure system changes consider Tech controls and standards before implementation.
• Utilize data analysis to conduct process improvements to drive efficiencies across the organization.
• Monitor Finance Tech compliance, resiliency, and Identity Access Management metrics, develop metrics to be analyzed.
• Identify and implement continual Tech program enhancements aligned with Capital One’s risk direction.
• Champion ideas related to process automation and emerging technologies to mitigate risks.
• Support Finance Tech as the SME for identity access management across the tech landscape.
• Manage the Enterprise resiliency process for Finance Tech and communicate status and root causes.
