Job summary

Mactac North America in Scranton, PA is seeking a Manager, Plant Process Technology to lead the combined Engineering and Quality Control organization. You will own the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, defects, and customer complaints while ensuring product conformity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, continuous improvement or a related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in quality control or CI in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with Quality Management Systems – ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Managing, mentoring, coaching, and leading a team of process engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control technicians.
• Developing and executing a project portfolio of continuous improvement projects to increase uptime, reduce customer complaints, and address key internal and external defects.
• Managing the strategic alignment of the process engineering group.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System, as defined by the ISO 9001:2015 standard and other external customer requirements, and serving as the system management representative.
• Ensuring long-term compliance to the QMS through a system of auditing and reporting.
• Developing a department and staff, which displays both professionalism and competence, relative to recognized methods and behaviors in the realm of quality management and continuous improvement.
