Job summary

Qnity Electronics in Towanda, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA team and ensure ISO 9001 compliance, audits, and KPI reporting. You will drive quality improvements across processes, coordinate corrective actions, and work with engineering to reduce defects.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science, 7+ years in quality/manufacturing, 2+ years in leadership, and experience with Minitab/JMP and DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science/Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ related experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing.
• Two plus years in managing direct reports.
• Experience using a statistical software program (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical techniques including DOE, Control Charts, MSA, Gage R&R, ANOVA is required.
• ISO9001 audit experience; ISO9001 lead auditor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 quality management system in compliance with site directives.
• Schedule and conduct internal audits to comply with quality management requirements.
• Provide monthly quality performance reports and KPIs.
• Coordinate new quality methods to meet customer requirements and improve production capabilities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to quality issues.
• Review product conformance to specifications and control limits.
• Drive quality improvements via SPC, SRs, and corrective actions.
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to reduce defects and costs.
