Job summary

Hexagon AB is seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence & Enablement to drive end-to-end process improvements for the Americas Portable division. The role leads transformation initiatives, standardizes work, and builds enablement and training programs across commercial, operational, and admin workflows in a hybrid, Novi, MI setting.

The leader partners with IT and business teams to design, implement, and sustain improvements, while coaching managers on lean methods and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in business process improvement, operations, or enablement, including 2+ years leading people or cross-functional projects.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent, with completed improvement projects.
• Experience leading regional workstreams within transformation or system implementation programs.
• Proven ability to partner with IT or business systems teams on requirements, prioritization, and adoption.
• Experience developing or overseeing training and enablement programs.
• Working knowledge of enterprise business applications and reporting or analytics tools.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive process excellence across the Americas Portable business and cross-functional handoffs.
• Map, document, and standardize end-to-end processes with clear ownership and metrics.
• Build and manage an integrated regional improvement roadmap linking process design, data quality, and user behavior.
• Prioritize and manage the continuous improvement pipeline with high-value opportunities.
• Translate process pain points into requirements for IT and business systems teams.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects from charter to control with sustained benefits.
• Assess automation opportunities to improve performance and reduce workarounds.
• Coordinate adoption and measure impact; feed lessons learned back into the pipeline.
• Coach managers and teams on improvement methods to build regional capability.
