Job summary
Novo Nordisk invites applications for a Maintenance Engineer role at our Beckley/Clayton, NC area manufacturing sites. You will improve and support systems and equipment reliability in core processes, working with Process Engineers to drive performance and reliability improvements.Some travel may be required to support shutdowns and other global aseptic facilities.
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of related technical experience, an associate degree or higher, and knowledge of SCADA/PLC control
Qualifications
- Associate or equivalent with hands-on maintenance/processing experience.
- Experience in pharma manufacturing and/or formulation preferred.
- LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
- Knowledge of controls and control systems, e.g. SCADA/PLC/PCS/BMS.
Responsibilities
- Improve and support systems, equipment reliability and performance in core processes.
- Support process engineers in reliability improvements.
- Travel up to 50% for global support and site assignments.
