Job summary
Novo Nordisk’s Emerging Technologies facility in Durham, NC, seeks an experienced IT/Engineering professional to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing applications and to drive process-control improvements aligned with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with shop floor and corporate teams to manage upgrades, train staff, and support audits.
The role requires 5+ years in process-based manufacturing IT/engineering, familiarity with PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA, and strong stakeholder
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of IT or engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility and/or packaging systems a plus.
- Knowledgeable in PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable and consistent operation of identified local manufacturing applications.
- Improve reliability of process control systems to meet customer, business and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee software upgrades and releases to applicable systems.
- Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas.
- Support audits and inspections as SME for specified process applications.
