You will drive process improvement across new and existing products and guide cross-functional teams throughout the NPD lifecycle.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5–7 years of proven production process experience, with strong math and analytical skills, and an ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5–7 years of production process experience.
• Proven track record in design, development and qualification of manufacturing processes.
• Strong math and computer skills; detail-oriented; able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of material properties and engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development of new and existing products; ensure processes meet product and project requirements; identify solutions for technical issues.
• Participate in research and product requirements definition.
• Impact product conceptualization from the manufacturing perspective.
• Conduct 6M analysis.
• Support make-versus-buy analysis and estimate labor costs for make scenarios.
• Support architectural analysis of the product.
• Conduct DFM with design engineers relative to product designs.
• Support risk analysis including pfMECA.
• Lead the design and development of new manufacturing processes including process flow, line layout, fixtures, and training production work instructions.
• Work with procurement to source, quote, order, and receive equipment and materials to stand up the production line.
