The role emphasizes hands-on process development, DFMs, and cost-aware decision-making within a fast-paced environment in Michigan. An engineering degree and 5–7 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering.
• Five to seven years of experience with proven success in production process, design, development, and qualification.
• Strong math and computer skills; attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development of new and existing products, ensuring manufacturing processes meet requirements.
• Identify and recommend solutions for technical issues.
• Participate in research and product requirements definition.
• Impact product conceptualization from the perspective of manufacturing.
• Conduct 6M analysis.
• Support make versus buy analysis and labor cost estimates for make scenarios.
• Lead the design and development of new manufacturing processes, including process flow and fixtures.
• Collaborate with procurement to source, quote, and stand up production line equipment.
