Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a high-potential student for the ID1 High Volume Manufacturing Process Engineer role.

You will apply statistical analysis and data-driven decision making to improve manufacturing performance and yield in a leading semiconductor fabrication environment. The position partners with equipment and engineering teams to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and optimize wafer output, while building hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with graduation after September 2027.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Proficiency in one or more technical tools such as Python, Java, MATLAB, Tableau, or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to achieve yield, quality, throughput, and cost objectives.
Apply SPC, DOE, and problem-solving methodologies to identify and resolve process deviations and issues.
Collaborate with operations, equipment, and engineering teams to address yield loss risks and output interruptions.
Perform data analysis using engineering and visualization tools to support process optimization and increase wafer output.
Utilize AI tools to enhance process monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
