Job summary

Amcor is seeking a motivated engineering co-op to provide technical support and optimize manufacturing operations at multiple Amcor sites. You will complete several projects during the term and tackle real production issues.

Work includes installing new capital equipment, identifying root causes of defects, and delivering cost-saving waste initiatives while applying your engineering knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science).
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management to handle multiple ongoing projects and day-to-day process problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects and day‑to‑day process problems
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
• Ability to quickly learn software needed to perform job‑specific duties
• Employment authorization in the United States is verified through E-Verify
