Qualifications

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2030.
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Willing to work in a plant environment.
  • Must be enrolled in a co‑op program through Kettering University or Rochester Institute of Technology.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections.
  • Ability to promptly detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
  • Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled.
  • Ability to frequently and repetitively bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach.
  • Ability to lift or carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds and periodically up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb ladders and lifts, and drive vehicles and equipment.
  • Preferred: Leadership in field of study, extracurricular activities, or service organizations.
  • Preferred: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including synthesizing large amounts of data involving multiple variables.
  • Preferred: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage timelines and goals.
  • Preferred: Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and be resourceful and inventive.
