Job summary

Amcor is seeking a motivated engineering co-op to provide technical support and optimize manufacturing operations at multiple Amcor sites. You will complete several projects during the term and tackle real production issues.

Work includes installing new capital equipment, identifying root causes of defects, and delivering cost-saving waste initiatives while applying your engineering knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science).
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management to handle multiple ongoing projects and day-to-day process problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes at Amcor sites.
• Complete multiple projects throughout the co-op term.
• Solve real issues in the manufacturing environment.
