Job summary

Amcor is seeking Plant Process Engineering Co-ops to provide technical support that improves and optimizes manufacturing operations at one of our sites. A successful co-op will complete multiple projects during their term, solving real issues, including installing new capital equipment and identifying root causes of defects.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations at one of Amcor's sites.
• Complete multiple projects during the term, solving real issues in the manufacturing environment.
• Install new capital equipment and identify root causes for defects.
• Contribute to cost savings through waste-reduction initiatives.
