Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op to join MedTech in Añasco, PR. The program runs January through December 2027, and is a full-time 40-hour-per-week, onsite role.

You will assist with planning development and design of materials, equipment, and processes, review progress across projects, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to drive timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflective of all college coursework.
• Enrollment in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship is required.
• Availability of working full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op/Internship is required.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity to work on a variety of engineering assignments utilizing a wide range of engineering principles.
• Assist with planning development and design of materials, equipment, and/or processes.
• Review progress and evaluate results of multiple projects across various disciplines.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or related fields.


• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.


• Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship is required.


• Actively pursuing at least, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, academic major is required.


• Availability of working full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op/Internship is required.


• Must be able to provide their own transportation and it is required to be onsite 5 days a week.


• Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred.


• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.

Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
