Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op in Anasco, PR. The role offers a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) from January to December 2027, with opportunities to contribute to design and development of materials, equipment and processes.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, review progress across multiple projects, and gain exposure to a variety of engineering assignments in MedTech.

Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate year and enrollment in an accredited engineering program.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA across coursework.
• Enrollment in college/university during the Co-op/Internship period is required.
• Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in engineering and onsite availability 5 days a week.
• Proven leadership or participation in campus/community activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of engineering assignments using a broad set of engineering principles.
• Assist with planning development and design of materials, equipment, and processes.
• Review progress and evaluate results of multiple projects across disciplines.
• Collaborate with teams of engineers and technicians to achieve project completion.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship is required.
• Actively pursuing at least, a bachelor's degree in engineering, academic major is required.
• Availability of working full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op/Internship is required.
• Must be able to provide their own transportation and it is required to be onsite 5 days a week.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
