Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op in Añasco, PR for January–December 2027. The role offers full-time hours and hands-on experience across engineering disciplines within MedTech.

Responsibilities include assisting with planning and development of materials, equipment, and processes, and coordinating with engineers and technicians to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year required.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Enrollment during Co-op/Internship required.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op/Internship.
• Must be able to provide own transportation; onsite 5 days/week.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or community service preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word).
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship needed.
• Students on CPT/OPT/STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship unless eligible for an alternative status.

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Enrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during the Co-op/Internship is required.
• Actively pursuing at least, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, academic major is required.
• Availability of working full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op/Internship is required.
• Must be able to provide their own transportation and it is required to onsite 5 days a week.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
• Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
