Job summary

ATI is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Specialty Rolled Products coil mill facility in Vandergrift, PA. You will drive process development and improvement, and contribute to quality cost control while collaborating with production workers and technical staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, root-cause analysis, and effective communication to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions. Occasional off-turn support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with project development, implementation and management.
• Experience with process analysis and data summarization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
• Control quality costs and monitor metrics.
• Interact effectively with production workers, supervision and technical staff.
• Assess materials and disposition non-conforming product per customer requirements.
